Jenny Künkel works as postdoc researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Bordeaux (UMR 5319 Passages). Her current project that is part of the Narcotic City Group analyzes the (self-)governing of drug consumption in feminist party spaces. Like her previous research on sex work, policing of public spaces, precarious migration, urban poverty programs, social movements and neoliberalization, the project is situated in critical urban studies and aims at fostering links between poststructuralist and materialist critical theories.
